The dust settles for the Morning Star Science Fiction Literature Award at the 'Obsessed' Science Fiction Concert, sung by Shenzhen University

On November 23rd, the 2018 China Science Fiction Awards Ceremony was held in Shenzhen, and the fourth Morning Star Awards  Chinese Original Science Fiction Literature Contests finally settled. The Science & Fantasy Growth Foundation, the initiator of the Morning Star Award, has teamed up with the Shenzhen University Matchstick Paradise Music Association to specially plan a "Get Addicted" Morning Star science fiction themed concert, bringing a unique concert to science fiction fans.

Ma Guobin, the initiator of the Science & Fantasy Growth Foundation, warmly welcomed the creators in the national science fiction circle and expressed the hope that the science fiction circle can unite and create a better future, and join hands to welcome the prosperous era of diverse Chinese science fiction.

The Morning Star Award is initiated by the Science & Fantasy Growth Foundation, jointly organized by the Shenzhen Association for Science and Technology, the Shenzhen Reading Month Organizing Committee Office, and the Nanshan District Association for Science and Technology, co organized by the Shenzhen Reading Federation and Haitian Publishing House, and exclusively supported by AcFun Danmu Video Network. It is reported that since the launch of the Morning Star Awards in May 2018, more than 500 submissions have been received. Li Lijun's work "Selling Shells" won the Best Medium length Science Fiction Novel Award, Wu Zhirui's work "Clockwork City" won the Best Short Science Fiction Novel Award, Jiang Qing's work "Lang Xin Like Iron" won the Best Science Fiction Script Award, Yu Bo's work "Infinite Notes" won the Best Children's Science Fiction Award, Xue Yan's work "Focus on", Zhu Baiqing's work "The East China Sea Explosion Case", Fu Jin's work "Life Code", and Guo Jian's work "2080" have obtained qualifications for the Science & Fantasy Growth Foundation's Long form Science Fiction Work Creation Support Program. The Jinkang Award, which is used to encourage core science fiction creation, is still unfortunately vacant this year.
