Perfect: The 6th Morning Star Awards Chinese Original Science Fiction Literature Contests in 2020

On the evening of November 27th, the award ceremony of the 6th Morning Star Awards  Chinese Original Science Fiction Literature Contests was held at Nanshan Experimental Theater in Shenzhen.

After six months of soliciting submissions, multiple science fiction literature awards have finally settled, and several outstanding science fiction original writers with different styles have won the awards.

Mr. Ma Guobin, the initiator of the Science & Fantasy Growth Foundation, the organizer of the event, also reviewed the efforts and achievements since its fifth anniversary, and interpreted and looked forward to the future direction of the Science & Fantasy Growth Foundation. In addition, the award-winning science fiction film "Deep Space" from the 2nd Science and Technology Film Week in 2017 was also invited to appear at the award ceremony.

In the future, the Science & Fantasy Growth Foundation will hold events and activities with distinctive Shenzhen characteristics and incubation functions in more vertical fields, such as 3D design and music production, to continue discovering and discovering talents lacking in the industry chain through competitions, and based on a series of events, plan to hold a large-scale science fiction festival in Shenzhen.

At the same time, the Science & Fantasy Growth Foundation will help promote Shenzhen to become a domestic science fiction highland, leveraging Shenzhen's industrial advantages to launch a public service platform, spreading science fiction culture through the integration of "technology+culture", incubating cutting-edge technology enterprises with the function of "science fiction is a technology leader", promoting local technology and science fiction interaction, attracting more science fiction related cultural and creative, art design, visual effects, sound effects teams, etc. in Shenzhen, gathering sparks, and creating a science fiction industry base "produced in Shenzhen".

The debut of 'Deep Space' showcases a unique 'artistic' sci-fi style

The space science fiction film "Deep Space" directed by emerging director Wang Renchao made its debut at this award ceremony. Director Wang Renchao also came to the event site and brought a special "Morning Star Open Class - Hard Science Fiction Film Digging Guide" to everyone.

In his speech, Zhang Zhiping, member of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the Shenzhen Association for Science and Technology, said, "This has a demonstrative effect on the development of the local science fiction industry, inspiring local science fiction practitioners and enterprises.
