SGF and Trieste Science+Fiction Festival have reached a strategic cooperation

China and Italy join hands, and the "Calvino" project sets sail to the world
The "Calvino" Science Fiction Going Global Plan, an international cooperation project dedicated to promoting Chinese science fiction to "go global," was comprehensively upgraded and embodied at this ceremony. The plan aims to draw on the successful experience of Sino-French science fiction exchanges, and through a combination of "exhibition + forum + residency + publishing," establish a long-term cooperation channel between Chinese and Italian science fiction culture and industry.
On-site signing to deepen literary cooperation. Ma Guobin, initiator of the SCIENCE & FANTASY GROWTH FOUNDATION, and Francesco Volso, founder of Future Fiction in Italy, jointly signed a cooperation agreement in the presence of all guests. This cooperation will focus on the publishing, translation, and copyright cooperation of Chinese and Italian science fiction literature, fully promoting excellent Chinese science fiction literary works into the Italian and European markets.
We will advance on two tracks simultaneously to expand cooperation in film and television arts. Meanwhile, the "Calvino" project has also reached a strategic cooperation with the internationally renowned science fiction festival, the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival, on the eve of the award ceremony. The cooperation agreement was signed by Ma Yuepeng, director of the Science Fiction Foundation, and Francesco Ruzzier, the organizing committee of the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival. The aim of this cooperation is to promote comprehensive exchanges in the fields of science fiction film and television, art, and comprehensive culture.
These two collaborations mark the official establishment of a dual-track mechanism for Sino-Italian cooperation in the fields of "literature" and "film and television arts" in Chinese science fiction, providing a solid international platform support for the diversified development of science fiction IP.
